Things to Do at Caribou Crossing
Wildlife Museum
In a land where giant wild beasts still reign, this is your only chance to get up close and personal without serious danger of becoming part of the food chain.
Take a humbling stroll among the creatures of Yukon's past and present that include Steppe Bison, record Polar Bear, monster Moose, Wooly Mammoth
and the original icon, the Caribou.
Bring your camera!
Included in the museum admission is entrance into our outside exhibit which includes those cute little
goats walking over your head. As well, we have a number of other live animals for you to check out.
All the animals love the attention and can't wait to have you visit.

Yukon Goat Walk
Check out Yukon's highrise goats. Our friendly goats love heights, especially if you are willing to feed them
with our innovative feeders. Put some feed into the feeders and crank it to the top where the crew are waiting
for their treats. It seems there is never enough food to keep these guys happy.

Gold Panning
Follow the instructions of our resident sourdough and you are sure to strike it rich.
The gold bearing gravel you will pan is trucked from an active mine in Yukon. Colours and nuggets are plentiful and your lode will be packaged for you to display.
Caution: No protection against gold fever in place.

Dog Cart Rides
Hang onto your hat, these dogs are the real thing. Rested from the long frozen trails of winter, these veterans of
the Yukon Quest and Iditarod (meaning some place far away) races are eager to show you the strength and
stamina it takes to cover up to 150 miles of wilderness in one day.
Competent and experienced mushers guide the teams and are available to explain dog team travel and history.
At the mushers camp get set to meet the puppies - the next generation.

Caribou Express Wagon Ride
Enjoy a ride on the famous caribou express wagon ride. The Caribou express is a learning experience for both children and adults where
the guide will share knowledge of the flora and fauna and share a few stories from the First Nations culture here in the Yukon. The horses,
our Fjords Willy and Waylon will steal your heart as they tour you around the Crossing.

- Admission to the mushing camp. Meet mushers and sled dogs that have run the 1000 mile Yukon Quest and Iditarod.

Not your usual antique photo shoot: pose in authentic trapping and mushing costumes along with the workdogs of the

Mini Golf
This 9 hole course is definately themed to the north, both on the green and around it.
Husky puppies will be a distraction on hole #1, and free ranging rabbits and ponies will check your progress throughout.
Keep a keen eye out for Ravens, Yukon's largest song bird - they have been known to steal golf balls.
