In a land where giant wild beasts still reign, this is your only chance to get up close and personal without serious danger of becoming part of the food chain.
Take a humbling stroll among the creatures of Yukon's past and present that include Steppe Bison, record Polar Bear, monster Moose and Wooly Mammoth.

Gold Panning
Follow the instructions of our resident sourdough and you are sure to strike it rich.
The gold bearing gravel you will pan is trucked from an active mine in Yukon. Colours and nuggets are plentiful and your lode will be packaged for you to display.
Caution: No protection against gold fever in place.

Dog Cart Rides
Hang onto your hat, these dogs are the real thing. Rested from the long frozen trails of winter, these veterans of the Yukon Quest are eager to show you the strength and
stamina it takes to cover up to 150 miles of wilderness in one day.
Competent and experienced mushers guide the teams and are available to explain dog team travel and history.
At the mushers camp get set to meet the puppies - the next generation.

Iditarod Mushing 101
Experience the Iditarod and Yukon Quest with none of the discomfort!!!!

Husky Hikes
Hike with dog mushers and some of their friendly pack dogs at Caribou Crossing. Come and experience
this unique North Country first hand. Hike through the world’s smallest desert which is the home to a wide variety of plants.
- Learn about some of the more than 70 species of plants found in the Carcross Desert.
- Hear about history of the area and the role of the pack dog in the North.
- Experience the musher’s bond with their dogs and listen to the tales from the trail.
- Enjoy a packed lunch while experiencing the breath taking scenery.
Included In The Package
- Admission to the Wildlife Museum, which features an amazing display of animals from past and present including Steppe Bison,
a record Polar Bear and a Woolly Mammoth. Don’t forget to bring your camera!
- Admission to the mushing camp. Meet mushers and sled dogs that have run the 1000 mile Yukon Quest and Iditarod.

Mini Golf
This 9 hole course is definately themed to the north, both on the green and around it.
Husky puppies will be a distraction on hole #1, and free ranging rabbits and ponies will check your progress throughout.
Keep a keen eye out for Ravens, Yukon's largest song bird - they have been known to steal golf balls.
