Welcome to the Yukon!
Caribou Crossing Trading Post is found just north of the historic village of Carcross in Yukon Territory, Canada. Just 1½ hours north of Skagway, Alaska, and 45 minutes south of Whitehorse, Yukon, on the South Klondike Highway, Caribou Crossing is must-see destination on any Skagway Tour or Yukon tour. If coming from Skagway, most tour operators and Skagway shore excursions offer a combo package with the White Pass Railroad. These "Yukon Expeditions" allow you to take a ride on the "Scenic Railway of the World" and step foot into Canada's wild and pristine Yukon Territory along the way. If you are arriving into Skagway on a ship, select your respective cruise line below to view the available packages.
Stop in on May 25th for Yukoner Day. Free admission to the Widlife Museum, Husky Village, and Petting Farm. A great event for families. If you're a local and have never stopped in, this is a great day to see what's going on at Caribou Crossing Trading Post.
We're getting ready for another great summer season. Our official opening day will be May 10th.
We were honored to have Prime Minister Stephen Harper and his wife Laureen at Caribou Crossing yesterday. They had time to visit and take a ride with the dogs before addressing an audience of 300 here last night on the first leg of their annual Northern Tour.
